Greg grew up poking around on an upright piano, figuring out the themes of movies he loved. Soon, he was making his own films and writing his own themes — learning how music helped shape a story. Not long after NYU film school, he attended UCLA for film scoring and was awarded a BMI scholarship in composition.
He went on to create soundtracks and songs for all types of media, including narrative films, documentaries, web series, promos, podcasts, games, VR, musicals and interactive exhibits. He has worked with his fellow indie film comrades and industry leaders such as Matt Nix (creator, “Burn Notice”) and Richard Kelly (director, “Donnie Darko”).
Recently, he released a solo piano album inspired by the spirit of Gershwin and his love for old New York. Listen to it here or wherever you stream your favorite music.
