Greg grew up noodling on an upright piano, competing with his brother to figure out the themes of movies they loved. Soon, he was making his own short films and learning the importance of music in shaping a story. Greg traveled the road of movies and music from NYU film school to UCLA for film scoring where he was awarded a BMI scholarship in composition.

He has worked with Matt Nix (creator, “Burn Notice”), Richard Kelly (director, “Donnie Darko”) and Mark Palansky (director, “Penelope”). He has composed music for the ASC and The Learning Channel. Currently, he is writing songs for a musical as well as a series of piano suites for several films in development.

Frequently, you can find Greg volunteering at Cedars Sinai hospital, performing his compositions in the lobby as part of their “Music for Healing” program.
